| ½ Portabella & ½ White Button mushroom kits contain both the White Button mushroom and the Brown Portabella mushroom growing compost. These kits are the same size as the regular mushroom kit, but have both varieties inside. One side of the kit grows Portabella and the other side of the kit grows White Button mushrooms. There is no artificial barer between the two varieties. The compost in each side of the kit is spawn with its respective mushroom variety and when the two meet in the middle they produce a natural chemical barer that prevents neither variety from cross over into the other mushrooms side. When they fruit there is often a few days difference in maturing time between the two varieties so all the mushrooms don’t fruit at the same time. |
